"Bhuj: The Pride of India" is an Indian war film directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya. It is based on the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971 and it follows Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. The film was jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Krishan Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Kumar Mangat Pathak under the banner of T-Series, Ajay Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios. Its star casts are Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Pranitha Subhash, Ihana Dhillion, and Mahesh Shetty.

It's a true story of bravery, patriotism, and determination, the film follows the story of IAF Squadron Leader and then Bhuj airport in-charge Vijay Karnik, played by Ajay Devgn, who reconstructed an entire IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from a local village in Madhapar in Bhuj, Gujarat to protect the country. During 1971’s Indo-Pak war, 300 Bhuj women risked their lives to restore the bombed Indian Air Force airstrip in Bhuj, so that it stays operational to defend the incoming Pak air and land assault. Encouraging the local women to help repair the airstrip on a war footing was Squadron leader Vijay Karnik (Ajay Devgn). The film recalls the crisis and the contribution of the courageous civilians and the Indian Armed Forces.

Its release was delayed due to a pandemic and was finally released on 13 August 2021 on Disney+Hotstar. The film has been made under a budget of Rs 72 Crores and its collection is still going on but its Day 1 collection was Rs 25 Crores.
